In Their Own Words...  The Beckett Family Kyle, We just wanted to let you know that words can not express the difference you have made in our motocross experience. Not only have you given Brennan all the ingredients to become a very skilled and safe rider, you have also given John and I something even more important.  You have given us insite (just by watching you interact with Brennan) on how to coach effectively without pushing over the line.  I remember when we first started, John and I would have the poor kid working on every part of the track during one practice. During our first lesson with you (and I say "our lesson" because we learn just as much as Brennan every time), you explained how important it is to break it down in sections and just concentrate on one or two areas at a time.  Wow, what a difference your teaching techniques have made!  After we started practicing the way you taught us to practice, his corner speed picked up greatly as did his ability to choose lines, and he also became more consistent at everything!  Then, what we all wait for, the jumping came!  What an amazing transformation it was watching him go from the rider that you started working with, to the rider he is today!
I recently asked Brennan how he feels his lessons have helped him and he had a lot to say for a little boy!  He talked mostly about how confident he feels when he rides and also when he is learning or working on something.  He said that, "There is no pressure because I know that if I mess up, Kyle is going to be there to encourage me and that helps me get it right."  He also said, "I feel fast and safe on the track!"  I was glad to hear in his own words that he feels the same way that John and I do about the time he spends learning with you.
